CAMP REGISTRATION |
We only accept credit card payment for online registration, however you can mail-in your camp check payable to Bison Volleyball Camps for any online registration. Those checks can be mailed to:
Attn: NDSU Volleyball
1301 Centennial Blvd
Fargo, ND 58105
There is no camp supervision prior to each camp check-in time, so for the safety of your child, please only drop your child off during that designated time.
If for some reason your camper cannot attend, please contact Kelly Lopez (kelly.lopez@ndsu.edu) at least one week prior to the camp date, and we will gladly refund your camp balance minus a $50 non-refundable processing fee. Any refund requests within one week prior to camp start date will be refunded minus a $100 non-refundable processing fee. No refunds will be issued if there is injury, illness, or expulsion from camp.
All camps accept any walk-ups (commuter only) during registration, but only if there is space and enough staff available to accommodate them for the duration of camp.
A commuter camper is an individual that is either attending a day camp (youth, positional) or an overnight camp (all skills, high performance, team) where they are not receiving housing or breakfast.
Check-in for each camp will be done in the south lobby of the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse (BBF).
GENERAL QUESTIONS |
Please bring athletic attire (shoes, shorts, kneepads) and a water bottle.
Parents are more than welcome to stop by and watch at any time during our camps, and there will be areas along the sides of the gym that you will be directed to. Please keep out of the playing area as you watch.
We do offer a camp store that has a wide array of NDSU Volleyball apparel. The camp store is available for the duration of each camp and will include: t-shirts, long sleeves, shorts, sweatshirts, etc.
Our camp store does not offer any food or beverages of any kind.
The camp store unfortunately does not accept credit cards; however we do accept checks or cash.
The Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse (BBF) does not have an ATM in the building, however there are several options on campus that we can direct you to if needed.
We do offer our NDSU Volleyball apparel at our camp store for purchase. For overnight campers, there are vending machines with drinks and snacks available in the dorms and campers have the option to purchase food on their own that is delivered to the dorms.
Yes, there will be a certified athletic trainer on site; however, if a camper needs to be taped for any reason (ankle, wrist, etc.) the camper must bring their own tape. The athletic trainer will not administer new medication (ibuprofen, etc) to any camper. If a camper does need medication, they must bring their own, and the trainer can hold onto that for them.
PARKING |
A parking map for camp is located under the tab titled “Parking Map”.
Please be advised – parking in any other location will result in a parking ticket, as these lots/streets are monitored at all times.
NDSU Volleyball will not be responsible for any tickets you incur during your time here.
HOUSING |
The camper will be charged a fee of $75.00.
NDSU Volleyball staff members reside in the same dorm building as the overnight campers. Each staff member’s room is identified, and should there be an emergency, they will be easily accessible to help. If there are any disciplinary issues (not following rules and regulations), they will be handled by calling the parent immediately.
There are two beds in every room and the maximum number of people in a room is 2 people. Should there be multiple people attending the camp together, we will work to place them in rooms as close as possible to each other.
Each room consists of 2 twin XL beds.
Comfortable athletic attire, and extra to change into between sessions if needed; volleyball shoes or running/indoor court shoes; kneepads; sleepwear; toiletries; outdoor shoes to walk in in-between sessions and to the dining center/dorm.
Because our volleyball camps occur during the summer months, expect the temperature to be warm outside and in the dorms. It is recommended, but not necessary, to bring a fan for your room.
We do provide a pillow and bedding for each camper, along with a towel. Should you want extra towels or a personal pillow or blanket, you are welcome to bring extras.
MEALS |
All Skills camp, High Performance camp, and Team camp are considered an overnight camp.
If you are registered as a commuter, you will receive all meals besides breakfast.
If you are registered as a resident, you will receive all meals including breakfast.
Meals are not provided for our youth or positional camps. Youth campers will have a snack break each day, and will be provided a snack. Should your child be attending positional camp, it is recommended that they bring with them plenty of fluids as well as a snack if they are in multiple sessions.
Please notify Nicole Hauser (nicole.hauser@ndsu.edu, 701-367-7990) by phone or email if your child has a peanut allergy. Any snacks that are provided during our youth camps are nut free. Your child is more than welcome to bring their own snacks for any of our camps, we just ask that that they do not contain nuts. The dining centers we use for our overnight camps are allergy sensitive and nut free.
